Well, I survived my first craft show this past Saturday! Unfortunately, it was a gorgeous day and not very many people wanted to come to a craft show inside. I made one sale, but I did speak to quite a few people who liked my items and took my business card so hopefully I may have some custom orders from it before too long. I forgot to take pictures without the very helpful hubby in the background, and he is pretty shy so I'm posting just a couple of closer up pics!

I'm going to be getting some samples in the mail soon that I ordered of different types of Icelandic wool from a great shop on Etsy, so you will probably be hearing about that before too long!
Yah, craft shows can be hit and miss. They are great for making new contacts and sometimes that's just how you have to look at it! Glad you made at least one sale! =)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on surviving! keep your head up, you have great products!
ReplyDeleteAwww, sorry to hear that this one didn't go so well. I hope the next one is better.

Don't feel too bad, our first one didn't go as well either but it gets better, you meet really interesting people.
ReplyDeleteBummer, but I bet you met many crafters, new contacts, and some good advise? You're no longer a craft virgin:) Next time, you won't be as nervous:)

Nice to meet you last weekend. Look forward to seeing you around again sometime soon. (Hopefully we'll have more luck at the next one! :P)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, everyone! It was definitely still good experience, and it was great preparation for more craft shows. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was my first time too but yeah... Too bad there weren't a lot of people. It's nice to hear actual feedback tho from the people that came over to our tables. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sorry it didn't go so well. I'm glad you made at least one sale, though. Your cozies are very cute, especially the ipod ones!
